Action Step #53–Make New Year’s Resolutions

Instead of making several large resolutions, I am making 12 smaller “resolutions,” instead.  One for each month.  So…here’s my list:

  1. January–weekly visits to libraries
  2. February–playing guitar daily for a minimum of 1 hour daily
  3. March–no added sugar
  4. April–listen to a new song by a (new-to-me) artist
  5. May–weight training 3 days a week
  6. June–go running 6 days a week for the entire month
  7. July–no t.v./movies
  8. August–weekly rock or wall climbing
  9. September–visit a different (new-to-me) museum weekly
  10. October–no pork for the entire month
  11. November–write and complete an entire novel in the month
  12. December–daily photography projects

My overall goals for the year shall hopefully be achieved through these 12 monthly resolutions.  These bigger goals include:

  1. Publish 2 books
  2. Publish 1 script
  3. Film one complete work (even if short)
  4. Get to my goal weight
  5. Read 12+ books
  6. Journal daily
  7. Memorize 5 Chapters of the Bible
