Rita’s Latest Recipe: Honey Mustard Cinnamon Teriyaki Beef

I know it sounds a little funky, but sometimes accidents (grabbed the cinnamon instead of the cumin!) can turn out pretty tasty.  This one did!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. Honey Mustard salad dressing of your choice
1 cup broccoli (pre-cooked)
3 oz. ground beef (browned)
4 button mushrooms
3 stalks of celery
2 capfuls of Teriyaki cause
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. minced onion
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 cup shredded cheddar (optional)

Combine meat and veggies in skillet.  Cook together for about 2 minutes, then add seasoning.  Once meat and veggies are coated in seasoning, add the salad dressing.  Coat everything with the dressing, then let sit for 1-2 minutes.  Serve plain, over rice, quinoa or pasta.  Add cheddar cheese if desired.
