Rita’s Latest Recipe: Southwestern Beef ‘N Bean

Ingredients:

4 ounces ground beef (browned)1/3 dried pinto beans
1/3 dried navy beans
1/3 cup dried black beans
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp minced onion
1/2 tsp garlic
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1/2 chili powder
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tsp parsley flakes
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce (optional)

Prepare beans as directed on package.  After the meat is browned and beans are cooked, combine all ingredients into skillet and cook on low heat, stirring for about a minute.  Then let simmer for 3-5 minutes.  Serve hot.
