Tonight I started the process of becoming a certified fitness trainer: I signed up for my ISSA course! For the next 10+ weeks, I will be studying for 15 or so hours per week, working (hopefully dog-walking, keeping me active in the midst of all my studying), and doing my own fitness training.
My phone is loaded up with new apps, I got some new socks for biking in the heat, new bike shorts, found the missing weight lifting glove, and pulled out the other tank-tops and shorts.
First, I’ll be learning about anatomy and physiology. I’ll try to post tips as I learn and begin training folks. We’ll see how that goes in the midst of keeping crazy busy.
